Themes of the scientific and technical journal “Vestnik of RSREU” reflect main scientific directions of the University corresponding to the nomenclature of scientific specialties stated by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Russian Federation and also cover main directions of scientific, education and innovation activity of RSREU under contemporary conditions.
Themes of the scientific and technical journal “Vestnik of RSREU” are the following:
1. Journal column “Radio engineering, radiolocation and communication systems” is for publication of articles containing scientific and technical results according to specialties stated by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Russian Federation: 05.12.04 – “Radio engineering including systems and devices of television”, 05.12.07 – “Antennas, microwave devices and their technology”, 05.12.13 – “Systems, networks and devices for telecommunication”, 05.12.14 – “Radiolocation and radionavigation”.
2. Journal column “Computer engineering, information systems and technologies” is for publication of articles according to specialties: 05.13.05 – “Elements and devices of computing machineries and control systems”, 05.13.11 – “Mathematical support and software of computing machineries, complexes and computer networks”, 05.13.12 – “Design automation systems (according to sectors)”, 05.13.15 – “Computing machineries, complexes and computer networks”, 05.13.18 – “Mathematical simulation, numerical methods and complexes of programs”.

4.
